We are happy to announce the release of Hunter, one of our newest Genesis child themes. Hunter is a premium WordPress theme that overlays on the Genesis Framework. Hunter is an ideal solution for guides, outfitters, and taxidermists who need a low cost and budget friendly option for hunting website design.
This theme is named after my son Hunter. He is in a long line of Gill hunters and is now just old enough to trot through the woods in search of deer and turkey with his father. His older sister already had a theme named after her, so he was very eager for mom to get this theme live in the store and available for sale. Hunter would like to use it himself to create his own hunting blog, which is kind of funny considering he is only in elementary school. But as they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
The evolution of this theme is a family one that spans over a year. My husband wanted a hunting website a while back so we designed a custom WordPress theme for him. After many requests to sell his custom design, I convinced my husband to let me recreate his website design for our Genesis theme store. Having my son back me helped in getting this request approved.
Hunter (the theme and not the boy) comes with three color styles, multiple layout options, custom menus, featured images, and call to action widgets. The theme is mobile responsive so it automatically adapts to devices like iPhones and iPads. We’ve set the demo up to include a pricing table, photo gallery, a YouTube channel, and a blog so buyers can get a true sense of what the theme can do for the average outfitter website.
What to see more of this hunting WordPress theme? Then head on over and take Hunter for a spin.
If you’ve purchased our developer license, Hunter is already waiting in your account for download.
