I’m very excited to announce a new partnership between Web Savvy Marketing and Crowd Favorite.
I’ve had the pleasure of spending a great deal of time with the Crowd Favorite folks this last year and I’ve discovered the two companies have a significant amount in common. So much so, that we all wanted to work a little closer together.
A Little Bit About the Crowd Favorite Team
Crowd Favorite is an international firm that delivers professional services in design and engineering to Fortune 500 companies. They have an impressive enterprise level client list that includes well known companies such as Citrix, DIRECTV, foodgawker, National Geographic, TechCrunch, The Pioneer Woman, and Yahoo!.
This amazing team doesn’t just produce high quality websites. They also create excellent WordPress plugins and themes. Carrington Build and RAMP are two of their current products and probably the best known in today’s WordPress community.
An Overview of the New Partnership
In the new partnership, Web Savvy Marketing will provide SEO services to existing Crowd Favorite customers. Search engine optimization is not within Crowd Favorites’ core service offering, so we’ll be assisting in projects that require SEO expertise.
Prior to founding Web Savvy, I had the opportunity to fine-tune my SEO skill-set in a very competitive environment where my keywords and content marketing were positioned against companies like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft. I learned a lot about enterprise level SEO and I’m eager to apply this knowledge to the Crowd Favorite customer base.
Chris Lema, Crowd Favorite’s CTO & Chief Strategist, had this to say about the partnership:
“Over the past year we’ve been developing a business relationship that naturally led to this partnership. Each company brings something of value to the table, and we’re excited to make the most of it. Some of the enterprise clients Crowd Favorite works with need more than development help. Web Savvy Marketing’s SEO services are a perfect solution.”
Sometimes Things Just Fit
I first met Karim Marucchi (CEO) at the PressNomics conference last year. He was introduced to me by Chris Lema, whom I had known previously. I remember the day vividly, because I immediately liked Karim. While I sat and talked with the two gentlemen, I realized I felt as though I had known them for years.
Over the last year I gravitated to them at WordCamps and WordPress events. We are very similar people and I like them, their views on business, and their vision for the future of WordPress. It is a match made in nerd heaven.
As the year progressed I was introduced to others within the organization. I met Jason Rosenbaum, Alex King, Rebecca Courdy, Bogdan Fireteanu, and recently Jaffe Worley. With each new person I meet, I can see this company includes a lot of very talented people. They not only know WordPress, they have solid business practices and their end goal is always focused on the success for their customer.
What a Week!
This has been an active week here at Web Savvy. Earlier in the week we announced our focus on providing WordPress internationalization to our stock theme buyers and today we are announcing our partnership with Crowd Favorite.
I love the activity and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
