Today I had the pleasure of joining Carrie Dils on her weekly podcast series Genesis Office Hours. Carrie invited me on to talk about the launch of our new WordPress eCommerce theme. We were joined by Cory Miller, Justin Sainton, and Daniel Espinoza. The four of us represented the theme and plugin developers associated with our new Jessica theme.
Carrie as kind enough to ask us on the show when she heard the new theme would be styled to run three different eCommerce plugins. That is kind of unheard of for WordPress and especially the Genesis Framework.
At first she thought I was a bit crazy for taking on that challenge and honestly there were times when I thought she was right. But we launched the theme on Monday and we’ve had lots of sales and great feedback since.
If you missed today’s episode of Genesis Office Hours, you can catch up on it below:

A bit thank you to Carrie, Cory, Justin, and Daniel for taking the time to talk about eCommerce, our theme, and the advancements WordPress is making with online store themes and plugins.
We’ve come a long way since WP eCommerce launched back in 2006 and we’ve made huge leaps in the last two years. I’m super excited to see where WordPress eCommerce goes in 2015.
