This month I held my first SEO Bootcamp in Dallas, Texas. Our attendees came from all over the country and students flew in from a variety of locations stretching from California to Michigan and New York. My students were developers, marketers, and small business owners that work in a variety of industries. This diversity of experience and website focus helped provide a great mix of questions and conversations.
It was so much fun! I had looked forward to getting back into onsite training, but I didn’t realize just how much I missed it until I was on day three of the workshop. I looked at Cory Miller and said “this is my happy place” and I truly meant it. There is just something magical about helping people and seeing this help make a positive impact.
Here is a review from one of my student. I had worked with Joe on a custom website build and was thrilled he could join us and I could meet him in person. When you listen to his comments, you’ll see why I enjoyed the workshop as much as I did.

As we ended our workshop the students started to ask when the next SEO Bootcamp was going to take place. I honestly hadn’t thought it, but it was obvious I needed to start thinking ahead to additional workshops in 2017.
My students not only wanted to come back for an advanced level workshop, they also encouraged me to host more entry level workshops so others could benefit. I’d honestly love to do as many workshops as I can fill, because I truly find them rewarding and fun all wrapped up into one.
SEO Bootcamp OKC is Coming this May
Since feedback was so positive, I decided to quickly get another SEO Bootcamp session scheduled for this spring. Cory Miller was quick to jump on board and he offered up the offices of iThemes to host our next session. Carrie Dils was eager to return back and she’ll be joining me again for our next workshop as well.
SEO Bootcamp OKC includes three full days of interactive SEO training, co-working, and one-on-one coaching sessions. Students will have homework due upon arrival to class, there will be in-class exercises, and there will be homework given each night. These exercises and homework are important because they reinforce the education you’re receiving and help your SEO training really sink in and do so in an actionable manner.
I’ve stretched our next workshop to three full days so we can have more time to dedicate to exercises and one-on-one coaching sessions. In our morning training sessions we’ll be covering SEO strategy, competitive research, keyword discovery and scoring, site mapping, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and reporting. In the afternoon we’ll apply what we’ve learned with exercises and coaching sessions.
More Videos from Our Dallas Session
Before you decide on SEO Bootcamp, I’d love you to take a moment and listen to some video testimonials provided by our students in January’s Dallas session. It’s one thing for me to welcome you to camp, but I think our Dallas students will give a much better overview of SEO Bootcamp and why you might want to added.

Tickets Are Limited and On Sale Now
Based on student feedback we’ve capped attendance to the next SEO Bootcamp session to 25 people. Anything more would not allow the intimate and personalized attention I want to provide to attendees. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis.
